Großbritannien erzeugte 2024 insgesamt 284,2 TWh Strom. Im modellierten Energymix praegen vor allem Gas (30,4 %), Wind (29,3 %), Kernenergie (14,3 %), Bioenergie (14,1 %) die Stromerzeugung.
Reale installierte Leistung 2024: Wind: 30.900 MW (1,1× Modellbedarf); Solar: 17.600 MW (2,4× Modellbedarf).
Strommix und Ressourcenbedarf fuer Großbritannien im Detail
Die Einordnung orientiert sich an ueblichen Lifecycle-Betrachtungen fuer Stromsysteme: sehr CO2-arm bis etwa 50 g CO2e/kWh, darunter relativ CO2-arm bis 200, darueber eher CO2-intensiv bis 500 und oberhalb davon sehr CO2-intensiv. Grundlage sind die im Datensatz hinterlegten Technologie-Lifecyclewerte nach NREL sowie der modellierte 2024-Strommix aus Our World in Data / Ember.
